What a place! Everything was arranged perfectly for our arrival. Catie did a wonderful job helping us prior to departure. The villa was everything we expected and more. Looking forward to going back in a few years.

The house served all our needs - our 5 granddaughters shared Arena - and had a pyjama party every night!  We had trouble getting enough towels for that room. The beach and water toys were a big hit. The pool was a bit cold(a heater there would be nice!) Ismael and his staff made wonderful meals, drinks, and accommodated us wherever we wanted to eat. Our special occasions - two birthdays and New Year’s Eve - were truly special. On the last evening(after most of the wind had died down), Pedro lit a bonfire on the beach and we toasted marshmallows and sat around  until late in the evening.  The family loved the house and the surrounds and the proximity of the beach. They agreed the reunion was a big success!

Villa Sol y Luna was the perfect spot for our destination wedding. We housed all of the wedding party and families. We had a wonderful time on the beach, enjoying the gorgeous turquoise water and white sand beach! And, our wedding on the beach was beautiful! Couldn’t have asked for a better, easier, more relaxing spot!

Thank you so very much for your hospitality during our short stay at the beautiful Villa Sol y Luna.  What an amazing place - the home and grounds are brilliantly designed and meticulously maintained, feeling expansive and intimate at the same time.  We truly felt ‘at home’ in this amazing place.

Chef Ismael and his capable crew impressed us at every meal - and this is no small task, given that the group is comprised of food & wine professionals!  Pedro and the Villa staff worked tirelessly but almost invisibly - they were there to fulfill every request and meet every need, but were never obtrusive.  We got so much more than we expected during our stay!

I take this group on a weekend trip to Mexico every year - we’ve usually stayed at all-inclusive resorts in Playa del Carmen or Puerto Vallarta.  This trip was far more impressive and much more conducive to a group experience.  We could not have been more pleased with our stay at your beautiful Villa and I am grateful for all that Norberto, Ismael and the rest of the staff did to make us feel so very welcome.

Mi familia y yo te faltamos mucho aqui en Canada, cada dia mi esposa y yo hablamos de los dias que nos quedamos a Villa Sol y Luna y de las comidas que usted y tu equipo prepararon.  Mis disculpes para el video que es adjuntado a este correo, queria enviarlo antes, pero he estado muy ocupado con mi nueva esposa y con mi trabajo por el ciudad de Calgary.  Todavia, no hemos tenido la oportunidad de decir nuestras experiencias al Senor Filip, pero este fin de semana creo que podriamos intentar, al menos.

Espero que nos encontramos un otra dia, y pronto.  Usted hizo un semana importante en un semana muy especial, y por este estamos muy agredecidos.

Sol Y Luna is a place large enough for multi-generational families to stay and yet has enough room to wander about without feeling confined or cramped. It is on the ocean but set-back far enough to allow for family privacy. The beach is beautiful and the color of the water is incredible; warm and free of any rocks. Kids of all ages were able to boogie board, kayak, snorkel or simply read a book under the shade of the open umbrellas. If you like to walk the beach, it is endless. There is a treasure chest next to the pool full of toys for the little ones and building sandcastles is a must. The caretaker, Pedro, will surprise you with a fresh coconut from a nearby tree complete with a straw or offer you a freshly roasted chicken he cooked on the beach. So good. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all comfortable and large. The furniture in the house is basic but great for us as it was childproof. Great places to sit up on the roof and two levels of covered porches in the back facing the ocean.

The chef was wonderful along with having the house pre-stocked.

I hope this message finds you well.  I’ve been meaning to write you for a long time and thank you for our WONDERFUL stay at Sol y Luna in January.  My husband and I had a lovely time with our friends and really loved the property.  All of your staff made our stay so nice and we especially loved Ishmael’s cooking!  I’m not sure when our next trip to Mexico will be but we hope it will be soon and I hope we’ll be back to visit you then.

One of our friend’s mothers is interested in your property as well, so I’m passing your contact information on to her.
